Career Development Center Forestry Faculty Universitas Gadjah Mada (CDC-Forestry UGM) successfully held an English Language Test Preparation Training on Monday, April 21, 2025. This event, held in collaboration with the UGM Language Center as a resource person, took place in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Forestry, UGM.

This training was designed to equip students with strategies and understanding of various question types in English language tests, for both academic and professional purposes. Dr. Ashika Prajnya Paramita, as the main speaker, shared various effective tips and tricks for preparing for English tests. In the closing session, Dr. Aprillia Firmonasari also provided a brief explanation of the services available at the UGM Language Center that students can utilize.

To measure the level of participant understanding, the committee also conducted a post-test at the end of the training session. Of the approximately 148 participants who attended the training, 104 were declared eligible to receive certificates based on the results of the submitted evaluation forms.

This training generated positive results, increasing participants’ preparedness for various English language tests. Hopefully, similar activities can continue to be held regularly to support student readiness and competitiveness at the national and international levels.
